Caroline

Caroline took part in the organization and promotion of numerous of the SJC initiatives, and helped with many daily administrative tasks. She was the leader in putting together the SJC's 30th anniversary fundraiser concert "Global Music 4 Social Justice" at the Kola Note club.

Julia

Julia était venue tout droit d’Allemagne afin de faire un stage au sein du Comité pour la justice sociale. Elle a contribuée à l’organisation de conférence, et elle a obtenue une interview avec l’auteur Robert Calderisi au sujet de son livre « The trouble with Africa ».

Keith

Keith is the IT guy, tech support and network manager. As well, he has taken the initiative of redesigning the website of the SJC, and writing material on science and technology policy.

Marc

Marc was our resident designer for a while, in charge of making functional stuff look good, for the website and promotional materials.

Vivien

Vivien fait partie du SJC depuis Janvier 2006, elle complète en parallèle son diplôme à McGill en Études du Développement International. Elle travail actuellement sur les trafics d’armes.

Alexis

Alexis was able to get an internship at the SJC through a Government of Canada program. He had a large part in the organization and promotion of the SJC concert and writing a report on the situation of human rights abuse in Guatemala.

Miguel

Miguel, a graduate student at l'Université de Montreal (programme d'études internationales), was here completing an internship for his degree. He was in charge of the media relations desk, preparing press releases on activities and advocacy work. He also conducted research for the ongoing Third World debt cancellation campaign, and played an active role in the promotion of the Kola Note concert (and he MC'd the event!).

Amanda

Amanda was here while completing her master's certificate in business for non-profit organizations. She helped develop a longterm business plan for the Upstream Journal magazine, and its future appearence on the newsstand. Amanda participated in other activities such as the "Global Music 4 Social Justice" concert and the work of the membership committee. She even painted the famous blue chair - be sure to look for it when you visit!

Susan

Susan has completed her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Development. As a volunteer, Susan worked on the dynamics of human rights in World Bank operations.

Tammy

Tammy has completed her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sociology. As a volunteer, Tammy helps organize public events and conferences.

Luna

Luna a contribué à mettre en place et a animer plusieurs présentations pour le SJC.

David

David has a PhD in Neuroscience and as a volunteer contributed to public education programs and special events campaigns.

Aqiyla

Aqiyla has been with the SJC since October 2005, she contributed to membership and public education. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Development.

Ivan

Ivan a contribué en tant que bénévole au contenu de notre magazine, en rédigeant plusieurs articles publiés dans l’Upstream Journal. Il a aussi pris part à l’organisation d’événement éducatif. Ivan a suivi des études en Science Politique et en Histoire.
