Workshops and Presentations
The Social Justice Committee offers a series of popular and engaging workshops focusing on topics like third world debt and trade. Led by experienced speakers, these workshops provide an excellent opportunity to discuss and learn about these challenging issues. Current workshops include "Who Owes Whom?" about the third world debt crisis (in English, French or Spanish).

The SJC is also proud to announce its newly updated “The Price of Guatemalan Gold” (in English, French and Spanish) on corporate social responsibility in the Canadian mining industry. Did you know that Canadian companies make up 60% of all mining exploration and exploitation in the world? Using the example of the Marlin mine in Guatemala, the presenter will lead a discussion on the impacts of Canadian mining globally. Come learn about human rights, the environment and how Canadians can make a difference.

All SJC presentations are free of charge, but donations are greatly appreciated.
