The Concept of the Dinner-theatre
Tables are set all around the room, each representing a country of the Third or the First World. Therefore, each member of the audience is not only watching but also participating in the theatre performance as a citizen of the country corresponding to his table. On each table is placed a bowl of beans representing the financial resources of the country. As the evening goes, the beans will be exchanged as loans, but be careful not to fall in the trap in debt, there could be consequences…
Instead of taking place on stage, the characters evolve around the tables and interact with the audience. The dinner-theatre is a unique opportunity to spend an evening with Christopher Columbus, Queen Victoria, Uncle Sam, the World Bank, the IMF, Canada, Europe and many more!
