The “Action Alert” letter-writing network responds to third world poverty and instances of abuse of social, economic, and cultural rights. The alert network consists of hundreds of members, raising awareness and providing a way to helping some of the most vulnerable and exploited people in the world.
When we identify a situation of concern, we immediately contact our network, describe the situation, and explain how a letter from you can make a difference. The alerts often urge network members to write to their governments asking them to respond.
The purpose of this network is to continue with SJC's goal of "helping you help the world," and you can participate in this by being part of the network. Every letter written and every fact shared helps create a better world.
